Seals vs Bears. Flippity Flop

So McCain is all up in arms about studying bear DNA in Montana -- a federal earmark worth about 3 million.

While Palin was mayor of Wasilla, she helped bring in a 3.2 million earmark for a study of seal DNA. Now she's against earmarks, and perhaps seals, too, I'm not sure about the second one.

I think the sounds seals make when they move around on the beach sounds kind of like "flip-flop."

  1. What are earmarks? I forget. Are those what Obama is trying to get out of new legislation, like, this can go through if so much money goes to blah blah blah?
I didn't realize you went through with a general blog. Great! Also, does the word verification prevent spam? I have my blog set so that I have to approve comments before they are published. This seems to confuse people, as I often get notified of comments twice.
